Herne Bay – Extension and Renovation

KPJ Construction (Kent) Ltd delivered this single storey side extension in Herne Bay, creating a spacious new kitchen area alongside internal alterations to the original bungalow. The project began with the demolition of an existing porch and single garage, making way for a modern pitched-roof extension designed to blend seamlessly with the existing property.

The extension was constructed using a new timber framework with facing brickwork, carefully matched to the original building for a consistent external appearance. Internally, the new kitchen was completed to a high specification, incorporating electric underfloor heating, a log burner stove, an air conditioning unit, and an integrated solar panel system to improve energy efficiency.

As part of the renovation works, we also created a new wet room, featuring a high-specification electric walk-in shower. Additional works included external hard landscaping and the construction of a new boundary wall, enhancing both the functionality and kerb appeal of the property.
